Shanxi Black is a kind of granite with the most absolute black in the world. With the advantages of well-proportioned structures, grey grounding color, and also pure & ashine black, its quality has alreay exceeded the one of India Black. At present, it is popular to be processed as slabs, countertops, washbasins, monuments, and so on. 

Shanxi Black has different quarries. It is known as follows:
1: Pure black face: This quarry located in Datong City. The quarry’s production over 20,000CBM.
2: Black face with gold flecks:  Located in Hunyuan County.  This material has three quarries: GL, GF, HG.
        GL: is a quarry good at face (black ground) and god spot is small and scarce.
        GF: is a quarry with bigger gold flecks.
        HG: is a quarry with small gold flecks and densely covered
3: Side quarry:  Not pure black, without gold flecks, the background has very fine cyan flower.

Many Chinese factories now polished with black dyestuff. It is more shining after the processing. They replaced with pure shanxi black. But it will fade under the sun light and high temperature.
 
Shanxi Black quarry is not like other materials’ quarries, it is very special, and it comes out by grain not cube meter. It is integrity like an egg.
