| Mother of Pearl is an organic gem formed from protective layers of calcium carbonate which line the inside of the pearl oyster shell. This is the same natural process and material as the pearl, and takes up to seven years to form. Different specimen has different color combination that makes it very eye-catching. The beautiful iridescent colors you see in mother-of-pearl are caused by reflective light bouncing of the various layers of growth in the shell. Crackle Mother of pearl Panels are handcrafted slab/tile available for custom fabrication. Such panels are backed with reinforced fiberglass mesh with overall thickness in 2.5mm to 3mm. Maximum slabs can reach up to 2440x1220x3mm. Cut-to-size tiles are available in 300x300mm, 400x400mm, 600x600mm, 600x300mm, 600x400mm,1200x1200mm, 1200x600mm, etc. The Shell tiles are purely handmade to give an accent with combination of marble and seashell on floors, walls, kitchens, or even in your bathrom covered with beautiful decorative shell tiles. |
