| Mother of Pearl is an organic gem formed from protective layers of calcium carbonate which line the inside of the pearl oyster shell. This is the same natural process and material as the pearl, and takes up to seven years to form. Different specimen has different color combination that makes it very eye-catching. The beautiful iridescent colors you see in mother-of-pearl are caused by reflective light bouncing of the various layers of growth in the shell. Capiz Tiles are made from natural capiz shells. These tiles are made by the finest shell craftsman. Capiz shells are carefully processed, cleaned, polished and perfectly cut to make beautiful tiles. Available in different size and design. Capiz Shell Slabs or Panels are handcrafted slab/tile available for custom fabrication. Such panels are backed with reinforced fiberglass mesh with overall thickness in 2mm. Maximum slabs can reach up to 2440x1220x3mm. Cut-to-size tiles are available in 300x300mm, 400x400mm, 600x600mm, 600x300mm, 600x400mm,1200x1200mm, 1200x600mm, etc. The Shell tiles are purely handmade to give an accent with combination of marble and seashell on floors, walls, kitchens, or even in your bathrom covered with beautiful decorative shell tiles. |
